About UsWorking, thinking and learning visually recently has become a field of increasing significance and rapid growth. Visual Facilitation can be seen as the analogue combination and application of text, shapes and imagery to illustrate content and to create meaning in order to support the transfer of knowledge and ideas. It makes learning and working more playful and helps us in dealing with complexity. It increases common understanding within teams and fosters group engagement and collective memmory.
Visual language can be applied to a large number of activities in the field of (non formal) education and/or learning, such as: Personal notes, flipcharts, presentations, mind-maps, large scale process visualisations, etc. |
"Ready! Steady! Draw!" vol.1 and vol.2 were international training courses for youth workers and this page collects all the visual tools which had been developed by the participants, and the visual vocabluary which is an ongoing developing collection of doodlings of them.
